Rajaji Home for the Aged, located in Viswanathapuram, Madurai, is a senior citizen home that caters to the needs of destitute elders both men and women who are physically healthy and active, and can take care of their daily chores all by themselves. Since its establishment in 1956, the home has been providing a safe and comfortable environment for the elderly, with all the amenities required for a comfortable living.

The home is equipped with modern facilities such as spacious dormitories, clean and hygienic washrooms, and a well-maintained dining hall. The residents are provided with nutritious food, clothing, and medical care free of cost. The staff at Rajaji Home for the Aged is dedicated to the welfare of the residents and provides round-the-clock assistance to ensure their safety and comfort.

The home has a vibrant community of residents who participate in various recreational and cultural activities which help the residents stay physically, intellectually, and spiritually active and engaged. Regular medical checkups are conducted to ensure that the residents are in good health.

Our Home is a non-profit organization that relies on donations from the public to provide free care and services to the elderly. The home welcomes volunteers and donors who can contribute their time, money and skills to support the residents.

Thanks to the continued and generous support of our patrons - the donors, a new Ladies is started from 2024, extending to the fairer sex the same warmth, comfort, love and care that we've providing for the elderly gents for more than half a century.
